”DER STACHEL” - Special jury award

Sonderpreis: Stachel

THE STACHEL JURY IN 2026 im Jahr 2026

The Stachel is, alongside the audience awards Rose and Distel, our only jury prize. The Stachel is awarded across genres to a film from one of the four competitions. It is selected by a jury from among the nominations submitted by the program advisory boards.

For the Stachel, we are looking for a compelling film that addresses the topic of sustainability in a particularly effective way. We honor a film that can contribute fruitfully to the sustainability debate through both doubt and strength. After all, sustainability—if it is to succeed—is an ongoing question, not a simple answer.
