Tickets

  • Online ticket shop: Tickettoaster.de
  • Box office: Haus Schwärzetal, Weinbergstr. 6a (opens 1 hour before the first event, no card payments accepted)
  • Prices: The admission price for most events is €8 or €5 with a discount. Please refer to the price overview for exceptions.
Age rating

All events are open to persons aged 18 and over. Exceptions are „Jugendfilmnachmittag“, „Hanami“, „Von Icke bis Platt“, „Das Zeitvermächtnis“ and „Lange Nacht des Bauernfilms“ and „Kurzfilme - Nicht nur für Kinder“, which are suitable for minors of all ages..

The Provinziale is an international film festival that focuses on films related to home, landscape, city, and country—in other words, to the province in the broadest sense.

The festival shows documentaries, short films, and animated films in four competitions and is complemented by an extensive supporting program of music and film discussions.
